Sneak peak from the interview with Balint Tordai, co-founder of kanvas and managing director of Kraftwerk Experiential Design

Can you tell us about the purpose and vision of kanvas? What is your ultimate goal with this space?

kanvas is more than just an exhibition space, it’s a blank canvas for art-plugged-in projects, an artistic workshop and incubator, a global creative community, a new media art hub but also an event venue. The purpose of kanvas in a sentence is to communicate the values of life to more people in a more experiential way. Our vision is to become the strongest ambassador of new media art in the Middle East region.

What are your most exciting plans and future projects for the next season? 

One of our current plans is a large-scale event that I cannot say much about at the moment, but if we do our job well, hopefully, we will be included in the cultural events calendar of Dubai or the UAE soon. In the second half of 2023, several artists will exhibit their work on the digital walls of kanvas, international co-productions, and group and solo exhibitions alike.
