Spatial Incisions is an immersive study of perception, movement and space. Black-and-white animated lines travel across the walls and floor, meeting subtle indentations in the architecture and turning the room into a shifting optical field. Surfaces appear to fold, stretch and recede, while what we perceive as stable gradually begins to shift.

Drawing on the visual legacy of Viktor Vasarely and Op art, Nagy translates optical abstraction into a spatial experience. Precise geometry is set in motion, creating a continuous tension between flat image and physical environment, order and disorientation.

As we move through the work, our viewpoint becomes part of the composition: patterns realign, scale appears to change and the room reveals itself differently from each position. Spatial Incisions invites us to reconsider not only what we see, but how we sense and experience the space around us.
